Yolita Wildman Nugent

Yolita Wildman Nugent is an apparel engineer, entrepreneur and researcher of advanced clothing systems including wearable electronics. She has a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in Apparel Design. She has worked professionally in the apparel industry and in production since 1997. Her interest in technology eventually led her to work on many wearable and textile sensing applications developing out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Rebecca Shulman

Rebecca Schulman is an associate professor in the Departments of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Computer Science and a member of the Institute for Nanobiotechnology and the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics at The Johns Hopkins University.  Her research focuses on the development of intelligent and adaptive biomolecular materials and nanostructures and combines ideas from materials science, circuit design and cell-free synthetic biology.  Dr. Schulman joined JHU after working as a Miller Postdoctoral Fellowship in physics at UC Berkeley.
