Dr. Van Deventer completed undergraduate studies at Stanford University, PhD studies at the California Institute of Technology, and postdoctoral work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Tufts University. The Van Deventer Laboratory works at the interface of protein engineering, synthetic biology, and chemical biology.
