Daniel Howsmon

Daniel is currently an NIH F32 Postdoctoral Fellow at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include coupling “-omics” data with high fidelity computational models of cell signaling processes and data science of medical signals. He obtained his PhD in 2017 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute under the supervision of Juergen Hahn and B. Calvin Tsay

Calvin Tsay is an EPSRC David Clarke Fellow and an Imperial College Research Fellow at the Department of Computing at Imperial College London. He received a BS in chemical and biomolecular engineering and a BA in managerial studies from Rice University, and his PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, advised by Michael Baldea. His research interests are in the areas of computational optimization, process dynamics/control, optimization for machine learning, and process systems engineering.Read more

Christos Georgakis

Dr. Christos Georgakis is a Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Tufts University, where he has also been the Gordon Senior Faculty Fellow in Systems Engineering.
