Ying’s research work mainly focuses on production process modeling, simulation, and optimization. In this work, a conceptual design for a super industrial complex (termed A 3 U) that utilizes natural gas for electricity generation, fertilizer production, and carbon capture has been developed. It integrates four subsystems: air separation, Allam-cycle power plant, ammonia production, and urea production. Dr. Kishori Deshpande is a Senior Research Scientist in Catalyst and Process Research Development group at Dow.
