Cecilia Martinez-Gomez

N. Cecilia Martinez-Gomez is an Associate Professor and a Bakar Faculty Fellow at UC Berkeley in the Plant and Microbial Biology department. Her research program is focused on microbial rare earth metabolism. Michael Baym is a microbiologist and applied mathematician studying bacterial evolution and computational genomics. Mingfei Zhao

Dr. Mingfei Zhao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Alabama, joining in August 2024. She earned her bachelor's and master’s degrees from Shandong University and her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY Binghamton. She completed postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
