Intergalactic Adventurer
When I was in middle school, my mom bought me a telescope to gaze up at the night sky. Things have been looking up for me ever since.”
“Today, Im developing systems for rockets, shuttles and rovers
that will be launched
into outer space. At NASA!
“You think that’s cool? Check this out. Im also working on a project called the Double
Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) thats going to crash a probe into a tiny planet-moon
called Dimorphos.”
The crash will simulate the impact of a meteor or asteroid colliding with Earth, so we can blow it up before it gets too close!”
Dream big and start now. It’s not too early to begin thinking about a career in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). In fact, I was in middle school when I decided to go for it. You can, too!
