Rajanikanth Vadigepalli received his Bachelor's and Doctorate degrees in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology-Madras and University of Delaware, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology, Anatomy and Cell Biology, at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA, USA. Work in Dr. Vadigepalli's lab is directed at understanding the regulatory network dynamics driving the intra- and inter-cellular adaptive processes in mammalian pathophysiology. Though cross-disciplinary collaborative projects, his lab studies signaling and gene regulatory networks in: central cardiorespiratory control circuits adversely adapted in hypertension, alcohol toxicity on liver repair and regeneration, and abnormal stem cell differentiation in the context of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. Dr. Vadigepalli's lab also focuses on developing advanced computational modeling, systems engineering and bioinformatics approaches to complement high-throughout biological experimentation.
