Project Scope
This second edition to Incidents that Define Process Safety builds on the incidents that were outlined in the original book and is adding incidents from other countries and business sectors (e.g. foods) where Risk Based Process Safety is applicable and necessary to avoid catastrophic events. The chapters are largely aligned to major incident types (e.g. fires, toxics, etc.).
Additionally, each incident is aligned to the primary elements of Risk Based Process Safety (RBPS), thus availing the reader to be able to identify incidents that exemplify where these elements could have played a role in avoiding the respective events.
