Development and Implementation of Software of HAZOP Analysis Sequence Determination Method Based on the Interpretive Structural Modeling


This paper combined the interpretive structural modeling and the HAZOP analysis method. Then software of HAZOP analysis sequence determination method based on the interpretive structural modeling was developed, which is used for the HAZOP analysis sequence determination of a complex chemical process and improve the efficiency of HAZOP analysis. The procedure of this software includes: inputting plants names, subsystems and variables information, acquiring the values of the relationship indexes of the subsystems and process variables, establishing influence relation matrix of subsystems and process variables, generating a hierarchy of the subsystems and process variables, and determining the analysis sequence of the complex chemical process. Furthermore, the HAZOP analysis sequence of the reaction section of the VGO unicracking process unit is determined by using the software. In contrast with the customary analysis, this software acquired the HAZOP analysis sequence of thirteen subsystems in the reaction section of the VGO unicracking process unit. Meanwhile, the number nine subsystem was taken as an example, the HAZOP analysis sequence of twelve process variables in this subsystem was also determined by this software. It is confirmed that this software can enhance the analysis efficiency and make the HAZOP analysis process more reasonable.
