Abstract: The minimum ignition temperature is an important parameter to show the explosion risk of dust, which is affected by particle size, moisture content and ash etc. According to GBT19077.1-2008, the sizes of 8 samples are determined by laser particle analysis. Then their minium-ignition-temperatures are tested by ignition temperature measuring meter. Finally, the fitting curve for the experimental dates is obtained. The results show that the minimum-ignition-temperature reduces with the flour particle size reducing when the size is above 21.93um.While it is below 21.93um, the temperature would increase with the decreasing of particle size. What’s more, there is a positive correlation between the average size and its minium-ignition temperature based on the fitting curve.
