Risk Based Process Safety* (RBPS) has become a trend for process safety improvement in many chemical organizations. With reference to the CCPS publication, APCI representative introduces the overview on Why, What and How risk based decision making is practiced in the corporation. The corporate Risk Management Process, Quantified Risk Analysis, Risk Analysis methods and tools are presented for experience sharing in the conference. The presentation include some contents on local regulation developments in terms of risk based decision, like China’s risk target – how it compares to other countries and organizations. APCI risk management process is one of the four pillars that support risk based process safety in the corporate – culture, management system, work process and technical competency.
