Abstract: Natural gas buried pipelines in using process, due to external influence, corrosion and material defects, such as pipeline failure, affect people's life and property safety and the environment. According to the characteristics of the natural gas buried pipelines, gas pipelines failure fault tree model is established; The minimal cut sets and minimal path sets are found out by the analysis of pipelines failure fault tree, based on which puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for preventing accidents of the natural gas buried pipelines; Then discuss the application methods of the fault tree model in industrial enterprise or urban gas buried pipelines risk assessment, put forward suggestions for the application and popularization of the fault tree analysis model.
