Abstract

The Purpose of this research is for experience sharing to anticipate any occurrence of fire, explosion, environmental pollution caused by not sustainability data of the process safety design into process safety operation and process safety maintenance data. Unused data, such as purchase of operation equipment that only refers to low cost, by violating shutdown schedule (overdue), unsuitable personnel training, is not according with process safety unorganized documentation system. Hence one of the ways to solve the above problem, it is necessary to closely monitor weekly in the process of purchasing operation equipment, schedule shutdown, training personnel and documentation system. Method used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis along with field observation research instrument. The obtained result, sustainability is not fully fulfilled. This is because, there is no procedure yet on need of sustainability, the application of sustainability monitoring is not in accordance with monitoring procedure, personnel competence has not fulfilled process safety requirement, there is no government regulation of process safety. Conclusion of this research is process safety sustainability concerning data design has not fully been applied yet in the operation and maintenance data. It is suggested that to maintain such a sustainability, each party in this matter, industry, university, regulating agency and independent agency who deal with the process safety must cooperate like regulating agency shall make a Law on Process Safety Management and supervise regulation application and maintain industrial personnel, and university create experts with curriculum in industrial need in the area of process safety and always updated in accordance with technology development, independent institution shall also conduct socialization and motivation on such a sustainability data process safety of design used in operation and maintenance data, and industry is in a highly aware and discipline in applying the sustainability.
