Process Safety Excellence By Improving the Process Safety Culture within Safco

Improving process safety culture is a way to commit to process safety, and the cornerstone to process safety excellence.

Although process safety meaning or concepts exist in SAFCO in 2016 we were able to achieve more than 22 million safe man-hours by applying Risk Based Process Safety Management (PSM) elements mostly integrated with SABIC standards, but implementing PS roles and concept independently enhance Process Safety Barriers and promote Process Safety Culture to identify leading indications.

Process Safety walk-through was a part of awareness to frontline workforce to enhance the sense for what could be leading indications to save the plant and equipment from failure, moreover shearing Process Safety Tips in continues manner to all SAFCO employees help to recognize individual role in Process Safety chain.

Gaps identifying after completing assessment of operating plant parameters, assess safety critical equipment and review and revalidate Standard Operating Procedure, were improved which enhanced Process Safety Management, limit the deviation and improve individual’s behavior and safe plants.
