Dan Bowerson graduated from Western Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in April 2006. In June 2006, Bowerson started working at Roush Industries as a design and release engineer on the 2008.5 Ford Mustang Bullitt exhaust and air induction systems, 2010 Shelby Mustang air induction system and Fisker Karma air induction system. From there, Dan moved to a new alternative fuels group within Roush, where he was a senior engineer on the Vehicle Production Group (VPG) MV1 compressed natural gas fuel system, Roush Clean Tech liquid propane autogas systems and Blue Bird Bus liquid propane autogas fuel system. In May 2012, Dan was hired by Chrysler as an alternative fuel system technical specialist, where he currently is responsible for all alternative fuel systems and components within the Fuel Systems Engineering group. Dan also represents Chrysler on NFPA, CSA NGV, ISO and SAE technical committees responsible for vehicular natural gas and hydrogen standards.
