Reducing CO2 Emissions with Nuclear Power

Dr. John E. Kelly will give the Department of Energy’s perspective on clean energy for the future in a presentation entitled, “Sustaining Nuclear Power as the Major Source of Clean Energy in the U.S.A. Strategy and Programs.” In this presentation, he will talk about including nuclear energy in the portfolio of “clean energy” power sources, and new nuclear construction around the world. In addition, he will discuss his role as the chair of the Generation IV International Forum and the way forward of this multinational organization.
