The P3 Program is a design competition sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency which promotes college students researching sustainable solutions to current and future issues. P3 stands for People, Prosperity and the Planet. Through this EPA program, college students can benefit people, promote prosperity and protect the planet by designing solutions that move us towards a sustainable future.
Two companies, Dow Chemical and Bayer MaterialScience, are steadily introducing new materials to give blade designers more options in the race toward 9 and 10 MW turbines.

Recently, Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, hosted AIChE's Mid-Atlantic Student Conference. Among the activities was the regional ChemE Car competition, in which 15 colleges participated. Check out video clips of competitors and their cars.
