Tina Tosukhowong currently serves as a Senior Director at GC Ventures America, a corporate venture capital arm of PTT Global Chemical (“GC”). In her current role, she manages the North America investment team with the investment thesis in advanced material, cleantech, biotech/ life science and industrial digital.
Prior to joining GC Ventures America, Tina was a veteran in the material industry with experience at both a large corporation and a startup company. She had held numerous positions, including scale up & technology transfer, application development, and business development at Myriant Corporation, a leading industrial biotech startup, until its acquisition in 2016. Prior to that, she had worked in the Corporate Research Division at Eastman Chemical Company.
Tina has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a Certificate in Management of Technology from Georgia Institute of Technology. She is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Private Equity and Venture Capital program.
