Dr. Analise Reeves joined Synlogic in October 2020, where she is currently the Head of Synthetic Biology and responsible for early program strategy and development. Analise has over 12 years of synthetic biology experience in academia and biotech and has led several exploratory teams through discovery stages to lead identification. Previously, Analise was a Senior Scientist at Senda Biosciences, where, as one of the first scientists hired, she led a team that identified and developed projects with therapeutic applications using synthetic biology approaches. Prior to this, she served as the Gene Engineering Project Coordinator at Bayer Crop Sciences where she managed workstreams for custom and high throughput cloning projects. She received her PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Emory University and performed her postdoctoral research in Synthetic Biology at Harvard Medical School.
