Before joining Wintershall Dea as CEO of Wintershall Dea Technology Ventures GmbH, a corporate Venture Fund investing in Start-Up companies, Andreas ramped-up a Silicon Valley Innovation & Investment Center for innogy SE with a 50m$ annual budget and spearheaded seven venture investments in US-Startup's as well as an investment in the Westly Group and eight partnership-agreements with Silicon Valley companies. Besides that he initiated the Free Electron Global Accelerator Program http://www.freetheelectron.com, which recently attracted 515 Start-Ups from 65 countries in the World. These activities were part of the digital transformation and digitalization of RWE AG/innogy SE and led to the successful IPO of innogy SE. Besides all this he is also an Angel-Investor.

But in general his track-record speaks for itself. He became a PhD lawyer with 25, got his MBA before 30, structured and executed on different national and international M&A deals with up to 300m$, build multiple companies for the RWE/innogy-Group and structured and executed different innovation-projects with complex managerial and strategic challenges. Besides that, he was a board member of a public traded company with 29 and general manager of 700 people with 100m revenue with 30. On the side, he built his own holding company, owning two businesses generating 700k revenue, employing 15 employees, and managing funds while inventing and publishing.
