ANTON A. (TONY) KISS, PhD, is a professor and chair of chemical engineering at the Univ. of Manchester (Telephone: +44 161 306 8759; Email: tony.kiss@manchester.ac.uk). His top research interests include process systems engineering, process intensification, and separation technology. Previously, he held a senior project manager position at AkzoNobel — Research, Development & Innovation, and a part-time professorship at the Univ. of Twente (Netherlands). He holds a PhD from the Univ. of Amsterdam. He received the Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award, the Hoogewerff Jongerenprijs, and the AkzoNobel Innovation Excellence Award.
