Bibek Sapkota has 18 years of industrial experience in various operating and engineering companies as an engineer in process operations support and process safety. He has served as the Global Process Safety Engineer at W. R. Grace & Co. for three years, providing process safety/risk guidance and support to facilities worldwide in process hazard analysis (PHA), facility siting, consequence modeling, acceptable discharge locations and implementation of process safety programs. His most recent role is Process Safety Manager-Americas at W. R. Grace. He has a BS in chemical engineering from S. V. National Institute of Technology in Surat, India, an ME in chemical engineering from Lamar Univ., and a Process Safety Practice Certificate from Texas A&M Univ. He is a senior member of AIChE.
