Bill Mosier, MS, ASP, CSP, is the Global Head of Safety at Syngenta, a leading global science-based agtech company. He specializes in Occupational and Process Safety and is a key member of Syngenta’s global Health, Safety and Environmental Leadership Team.
Prior to joining Syngenta in 2014, Bill served in a variety of roles within the chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries, and at an advanced technology Research & Development center supporting US Department of Energy and US Department of Defense projects.
He is a senior member of AIChE, as well as professional membership with the American Society of Safety Professionals, Center for Chemical Process Safety’s (CCPS’s) Global Technical Steering Committee, the National Safety Council Move to Zero Advisory Board, National Fire Protection association (NFPA) Technical Committee, and an industry Serious Injury and Fatality Prevention Center of Excellence.
Bill has been an active supporter of CCPS and the Global Congress on Process Safety (GCPS) having served as a session co-chair for several years. In 2022, he was appointed to a three-year leadership term within the PSM2 Symposium and is currently the Chair of the 13th PSM2 Symposium at GCPS this March.
He holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and is a Distinguished Alumni from the Safety Sciences Department.
