Changwon Suh, Ph.D. works as a Technology Manager for the Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO). He manages AMMTO’s energy storage/battery manufacturing portfolios for mobility and stationary applications.
Dr. Suh has over twenty years of diverse experience in technical consulting, manufacturing, academic research, and national laboratory settings. During his role as a technical consultant and scientist, his research focused on AI/Machine Learning for materials discovery and materials genome/informatics for energy harvesting and storage. He has published over 40 technical papers, book chapters, technical reports, and roadmaps including Nature publication, and has contributed to a variety of government strategy documents.
He graduated with a BS and MS in Physics from Hanyang University, South Korea and earned his Ph.D. in Materials Informatics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
