Charles Collins-Chase is a partner at Finnegan, where he uses his chemical engineering background to help clients protect innovations in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, energy and renewables, and chemical products. He focuses on district court patent litigation and appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, where he served as a clerk. Collins-Chase has handled litigations at every stage, from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal. He has assisted numerous pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients in Hatch-Waxman (ANDA) litigations and Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA) litigations. He received his law degree from the Univ. of Pennsylvania and his BS in chemical engineering from the Univ. of Delaware.
