Dr. Coelho is a human factors, safety, and risk management professional with extensive experience in utility, on- and off-shore petrochemical, marine, aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, and rail industries. A cognitive neuroscientist by training, he applies scientific techniques and findings to proactive analyses and reactive investigations with the aims of preventing human error and improving mental and physical human performance. He specializes in providing practical, science-based solutions for managing risks related to human error in the contexts of high-hazard systems.
