Chelsea Monty-Bromer, PhD, is an associate professor in the Dept. of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at Cleveland State Univ. She is also the founder and CTO of RooSense LLC and the founder and chief scientific advisor for Corrolytics. She received her BS in chemical engineering at Carnegie Mellon Univ. She obtained her MS and PhD in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the Univ. of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her laboratory research uses electrochemical techniques and novel sensing mechanisms to study the bioelectrochemical interface. She is the chair of the AIChE National Student Design Competition and is the second vice chair of the AIChE Student Chapter Committee.
