Ms. Cheryl Cui serves as a Partner at Nest.Bio Ventures. She is a Venture Partner at InCube Ventures, LLC. Ms. Cui has been a Venture Partner at VentureHealth since joining it in 2014 here she coordinated portfolio companies’ growth strategy in the Asia Pacific. Prior to that, she worked at Danen Ventures, where she served as an Investment Manager and managed deal flow, conducted due diligence and evaluated early stage technologies in the healthcare sector. She served as Vice President of Scientific Affairs at EDO Mobile Health Inc., which she also co-founded. She currently serves as a Board Member of Rootpath and HiFiBio Therapeutics. She has a background in cell therapy and synthetic biology. Her research led to multiple publications in Nature Nanotechnology, PNAS and FASEB journals. Her research in building synthetic gene circuits and molecular systems have lead to publications in Science and Nature journals. Ms. Cui was selected as one of the Canada’s Next 36, which is among the most prestigious entrepreneurial leadership initiatives in Canada. She has a background in biomedical engineering, specifically in cell therapy and synthetic biology. She received her B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science majored in Biomedical Engineering with Honors from University of Toronto. She earned her joint PhD degree in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics from MIT and Harvard Medical School.
