Chiara Tomaselli is an Urban Development and Resilience specialist. She has more than 7 years of experience in the field of urban resilience for the private sector and international organisation, such as the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat). Her expertise focuses on the operational aspect: project development and management, applied research, fundraising and communication. She has supported governments and local authorities in the analysis of urban dynamics and action planning to strengthen the resilience of their cities. She has worked in some ten countries, including France, Mozambique, Madagascar, Union of Comoros, Malawi, Cape Verde, São Tomé and Principe, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia and Guinea Bissau.
Chiara holds a professional Master 2 in Development Studies specialized in urban areas, social actors and spatial dynamics from the Institute of Development Studies of the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She also holds a double degree in Law and Geography from the same institution.
