Chiranjeev Kalra, Senior Engineer at Idealab Studio in Pasadena, CA, works on hardware product development and new product introduction. He has BS and PhD degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Delhi University and Princeton University respectively. Chiranjeev works on multi-disciplinary systems development, involving aero-thermal sciences, in transportation, infrastructure and energy sectors. In his previous roles Chiranjeev worked on development of novel high speed transportation system at Virgin Hyperloop One, supercritical CO2 turbomachinery design as program lead at GE Global Research and supersonic flight sub-system at Princeton University. Chiranjeev has more than 20 patents filed (8 granted) in the fields of energy, infrastructure, and transportation.
