Knowledge Hub Zealand is visionary initiative to support establishing Scandinavia's leading biomanufacturing innovation and educational infrastructure in Biotech City Kalundborg. Kalundborg is home to the largest biotech production site in Scandinavia. Here Novo Nordisk produces half of the world's insulin, Novozymes has the world's largest and most complex enzyme production, and many other companies such as NNE and Equinor Refining Denmark are located and have world-class expertise in the biomanufacturing and process fields.
Dr. Beenfeldt’s background includes a range of consultancy and industry experience from working for the past decade with a number of companies, as well as with universities, and government/public sector entities.
Dr. Beenfeldt’s academic work encompasses topics in artificial intelligence, industry 4.0, cognitive science, and theory of science. He received his doctoral degree (DPhil) from the University of Oxford in 2010
