Process Technology Director
Renmatix
Dan Floyd is Renmatix’ Process Technology Director. He and his team are responsible for the definition of and successful scale up of Renmatix’ Plantrose™ process. Dan joined Renmatix following 15 years at Dow and Union Carbide. Dan held leadership roles in both Manufacturing and R&D functions with teams in North America, Europe and India, as well as teams made up of multiple companies via JV and JDA. Dan has led commercialization projects in Polyolefins, Polyurethanes and Diesel Particulate Filters. Dan, a licensed Professional Engineer, serves on the Executive Advisory Board at the Institute of Paper Science and Technology in Atlanta, GA. In 2007, Dan was named to Georgia Tech’s Council of Outstanding Young Engineering Alumni.
