Postdoctoral Fellow
Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard
Daniel Gao is a Postdoctoral Fellow in David Liu’s lab at the Broad Institute and Harvard University, where he develops site-specific large gene integration technologies and applies precision genome editing to treat genetic diseases. Daniel completed his Ph.D. in Erik Sontheimer’s lab at UMass Chan Medical School. During his Ph.D. studies, he developed a CRISPR-based proximity labeling platform to profile chromosomal element associated proteomes for studying functional proteomics and genome organization.
