David DeBari is an innovator and process control engineer with ExxonMobil Research and Engineering. He has many years of automation experience in both continuous and batch processes and has been part of more than 20 projects that installed or replaced control systems. His areas of experience include instrumentation, analyzers, and various process control systems. DeBari is one of the original members of ExxonMobil’s Open Process Automation Program team and is the lead engineer working on the development of proofs-of-concept, prototypes, and the standard of standards related to the open process control architecture. He studied chemical engineering at the Univ. of Florida and computer systems engineering at the Univ. of West Florida, and also earned an MBA from the Univ. of Florida.
