David Edwards, P.Eng., is Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Zeton Inc. (455 Michigan Drive, Oakville, Ontario, L6L 0G4, Canada; Email: dedwards@zeton.com), a company that specializes in the design and fabrication of lab-scale systems, pilot plants, demonstration plants, and small modular commercial plants for the oil and gas, chemicals, polymers, pharmaceutical/biotech, alternative fuels, and bioenergy/biofuels industries. Since joining Zeton in 1994, Edwards has been involved in all aspects of supplying turnkey, fully automated pilot plants to its customers. He has an M.Eng. in chemical engineering from Nottingham Univ. and is a professional engineer in the Province of Ontario. He has been an active member of AIChE since 1996. He previously chaired Area 12b (Pilot Plants) and was past treasurer of Div. 12 (Process Development).
