Ms. Grubbe is the owner and president of Operations and Safety Solutions, LLC. A registered PE, she is a former Chair of the Law Enforcement and Ethics Committee of the Delaware Board, has consulted with NASA on safety culture after the Columbia Shuttle accident and has lectured extensively to students and professionals on safety and ethics. She has 40+ years of experience in industry and in private practice and is currently co-authoring a ebook on an "Engineers' Professional Responsibility."
She hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, and a Certificate of Post Graduate Study; Chemical Engineering, University of Cambridge, England, 1978. (Winston Churchill Fellowship –one of nine granted in USA in 1977)
She is the 2021 President of the AIChE Board of Directors and previously served as a board member from 2004 to 2008. In addition, she is a member of the Delaware Valley section board of directors, Chair of the Institute for Ethical Practice, a member of the CCPS Advisory Board, served as both chair and co-chair of the Licensing and Professional Development Committee and as Chair of the Institute for Sustainability (IfS) from 2009-2014
