Denis Menegaz is a Vice President of Project Management and Process Technology. He has more than 40 years experience and has held numerous Project and Engineering management roles for various petrochemical facilities including numerous world class petrochemical complexes. His experience includes management of all disciplines on projects; procurement, contracts, process piping, mechanical, electrical, control systems, civil/structural and information management. 

A seasoned professional, Mr. Menegaz has lead the process engineering design for a broad spectrum of process plants including: petrochemical, refining, natural gas processing, and synthetic fuels.

His Petrochemical experience includes ethylene plants, polymer facilities, glycols, alcohols, alpha olefins, and other specialty chemicals. Mr. Menegaz’s refining experience includes start-up of individual refinery units as well as process design of revamps and expansions.  He is experienced in hydrotreating, naphtha stabilization, vacuum tower, Claus plant, tail gas treating, hydrogen plant, steam generation, amine unit, sour water stripping, and all associated offsites and utilities.

Mr. Menegaz’s gas plant experience includes start-up, operation and process design of molecular sieve and TEG dehydration units; NGL fractionation; compression systems; turboexpanders; glycol heating and cooling systems; refrigeration systems; MDEA, MEA, DEA and DGA gas treating systems; firewater systems; and all associated offsites and utilities.

His synthetic fuels experience includes design work for both GTL and Colorado oil shale.

Mr. Menegaz holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.  He also is a Registered Chemical Engineer in Texas.
