Divya Varun is a Principal Scientist in the Cell Therapy Development organization at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), Seattle, WA . In her current role, she leads a process development team focusing on both early and late stage autologous lentiviral based cell therapy assets. Her team is currently leading Multiple myeloma and Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) targeting indications. The key focus being at the forefront of autologous cell therapy accelerated manufacturing to improve metrics such as reduced COGm, faster turn-around times, improved quality and automation enabling capabilities.
Divya holds a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University and B.S. in Biotechnology from University School of Biotechnology, GGSIPU, India. Her academic research work focused on identifying synthetic peptide based substrates for human neural progenitor stem cell differentiation.
