Dr. Donald P. Visco, Jr is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at Tennessee Technological University. As an educator, Visco has won a variety of awards including the National Outstanding Teaching Award from the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) , as well as the Fahien Award from the Chemical Engineering Division of ASEE. Visco has served in a variety of leadership roles in ASEE and currently serves as the 1st Vice-Chair for the Education Division of AIChE. Dr. Visco’s current research interests include computer-aided molecular design for the pharmaceutical industry, as well as the design, testing and synthesis of ionic liquids.
