Dr. Eldon Larsen is a Professor of Engineering at Marshall University where he coordinates the Master of Science and Engineering Degree program. Dr. Larsen has taught Project Management courses since 1994 in industry and university settings and is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional.
Dr. Larsen worked 16 ½ years for Union Carbide. At UCC he led a major effort to develop and implement Project Management for Research and Development. In 1994, Dr. Larsen co-authored a UCC training manual entitled, “Project Management for Research and Development.” As a result of his efforts at implementing project management for Research and Development, he received an individual “Chairman’s Award,” the highest award an individual could receive at UCC.
Dr. Larsen received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University. He has a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
