Eric Schneider is the President of the Houston Angel Network (HAN), one of the largest angel investment organizations in the US. Eric became interested in investing in his 20’s and began investing in public equities. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. Following his undergraduate studies, he completed the US Navy Nuclear Training Program and served as an officer on a ballistic missile submarine. He has worked for banks such as Merrill Lynch and Wachovia and spent 8 years at Noble Energy, a publicly traded oil and gas company, before accepting a position 6 ½ years ago with a private midstream company. Eric is married with 3 boys. He has been an active angel investor for the last 6 years.
