Dr. Erin Tullos is a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Energy and Environmental Systems Analysis in the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Previously, she served as a Senior Advisor to the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP 2.0) at the United Nations Environment Programme. With 16 years of experience in environmental research, regulatory advocacy, and compliance, Dr. Tullos has worked with organizations like ConocoPhillips, Phillips 66, and ExxonMobil. At ExxonMobil, she led research on methane detection and mitigation, spearheaded large-scale technology testing, and initiated interdisciplinary collaborations such as Project Astra and Project Falcon. She also directed methane measurement research at Scientific Aviation, overseeing aircraft and drone-based studies.
