After graduating as a Chemical Engineering, he received a PhD degree from the Technical University of Munich. His first steps in the professional career were taken in the process engineering department of Linde Engineering. After several years of engineering Petrochemical plants, project management was the next challenge to accept. From there he filled several management positions within the Petrochemical product-line, as head of project execution and head of conceptual design. His present designation is Senior Vice President, responsible for Technology & Operations of Petrochemical plants.
