Eugene Y.-X. Chen, PhD, is a University Distinguished Professor, the John K. Stille Endowed Chair in Chemistry, and the Millennial Professor of Polymer Science and Sustainability at Colorado State Univ. (Email: eugene.chen@colostate.edu, Website: www.thechengroupatcsu.org). His research focuses on polymer science, green chemistry, and homogenous catalysis. Chen was awarded the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award in 2015 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Arthur Cope Mid-Career Scholar Award in 2019 by the American Chemical Society.
