Materials Scientist

Feng Wang is a Materials Scientist in the Interdisciplinary Science Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory. He obtained his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Alberta in 2007. His research has centered on advancing transmission electron microscopy/electron energy-loss spectroscopy and synchrotron X-ray techniques, as applied to materials design, synthesis, and characterization. He is currently a Principal Investigator leading multiple projects ranging from fundamental research to the applied battery technologies for electric vehicles and other large-scale applications.
