Franqui Jimenez completed a BS degree in chemical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Franqui has over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. Having spent most of his industry career in process development roles at Genzyme, Amgen, and Sanofi, Franqui joined Moderna where he has been leading the nucleic acid process development function.
