Gayatri is renowned expert and woman entrepreneur from India, in the field of process safety engineering and risk management, with over 15 years of experience in ensuring the safe operation of industrial processes.
She started her business named ‘Salvus Energy’ in 2012 in Pune, India and expanded it in 2022 by opening a branch office at London, UK. Currently also serving as Managing Director at Salvus Energy UK Ltd. Her company has worked on projects for BPCL, HPCL, GAIL, Adani, Reliance etc. from India ADNOC, KOC, QE, PDO from Middle East, projects from Nigeria, Somaliya, Morocco from Africa and also for some Texas projects from the USA.
As a technical safety expert she has worked upon more than 100 risk management studies (QRAs) and chaired more than 50 PHAs till now. She is a Certified Functional Safety Engineer in accordance with IEC 61508:2010 and IEC 61511:2016 by TUV SUD and chaired many SIL workshops internationally. Her projects count from India, Middle East, Russia, Africa and the USA.
She has a Bachelor with distinction in Industrial Chemistry from Pune University. She is also certified by CCPS in 20 Elements of Risk Based Process Safety Management. As a passionate continuous learner she has undergone CHS trainings on Hydrogen safety as well.
