Gayle Gibson...2018 Management Division Award Recipient Gayle Gibson's achievements reflected a 34 year career retiring at the end of 2017 as the head of Engineering at DuPont. As the award criteria state she has “demonstrated outstanding accomplishments and achievements that have markedly benefited both society and the profession of chemical engineering”. Contributions included engineering design, process engineering, research and development, product and process development, manufacturing supervision, market development, business strategy, growth and supply chain improvement. She served as a Director reporting to the CEO prior to becoming Director of Engineering. A certified Six Sigma Champion, Gayle holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from the European University.
