Greg Scherer is a senior district account manager at Nalco Water, a division of Ecolab. He received his MS in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M Univ., Kingsville, in 1991. Following his education, he conducted fuels and lubricant performance analyses at Southwest Research Institute. While at Southwest Research Institute, Scherer co-authored articles on fouling in gasoline combustion engines. He joined Nalco Water in 1998 as a technical sales representative. He provides service, troubleshooting, and technical support for the Nalco Water process treatment programs in several Gulf Coast ethylene plants.
