Jan Haelssig completed his BASc and PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Ottawa. His research program focuses on the application and development of advanced computational tools to address industrial research problems. Current applications focus on the development of renewable energy processes, intensification of reactors and separation process technologies for use in energy, fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals processing, fundamental study of multiphase flows and phase change processes, and fire and combustion simulation.
